Parkinson's disease is a neurodegenerative disease that causes motor (movement) and nonmotor symptoms, such as tremor, slowed movements and stiffness, as well as many other symptoms. As Parkinson’s disease is chronic and progressive, the early stages differ from the moderate to later stages of the disease.
